CATOs consist of:
- CA firms approved to train CA Students before September 1, 2009 (“grandparented” CATOs)
- CA firms approved to train CA Students in the non-traditional career path which can include business advisory services and tax; in a small firm environment, it can include a combination of review, compilation and taxation engagements
- Approved employers in Industry
- Approved employers in Government
